My husband has appointed himself my “second” photographer on trips.
The picture above is an example of one of the shots he scouted out. Truth? John has a really natural, very good eye. He can see texture, rule-of-thirds, composition, and lighting instinctively whereas I have to train and learn to get there. So most of the time he is a great help.
Most of the time he behaves and helps me find good pictures even in bad weather (like the one below that was taken in the middle of a fog that swooped and blanketed the peninsula of bar harbour RIGHT when we were on the search for a lighthouse).

During the middle of the fog John saved the day again and “made” me a lighthouse so I wouldn’t be disappointed.

Like I said… he is helpful when he behaves!
In addition to the regularly scheduled WW post – I’m joining Kelly over at her blog for “I Love Saturdays” – a new linky party!
