Bokeh Celebration | Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

This is a Tuesday | Wordless Wednesday | End of the year post mash up! Photography by Jenny, house by Miss Tricia! I had to end 2011 with what inspired me into more creative photography last year – Bokeh lights. I’m still working on them (as you can see) but what fun this last year has been.

Thanks to each of you for being part of this journey with me – I am a better photographer because YOU have been a part of my journey, so thank you. I wish you many blessings and comforts over the holidays as you rest in the Peace of the Christ child and the arms of your loved ones.

This will be my last post of 2011 because I have some exciting stuff that I’m working on from now until 2012 like, oh, a new WEBSITE and branding for my business so stay tuned and hope to see y’all back here next year!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

About the Author

jennyrain I break things and trip a lot. I like to chase things like dreams, goals, ideas, and raindrops. I create things with words. Writing has been an outlet since I first discovered the magic empty space of a journal. Words dance around in my brain and often land amidst scraps of paper, find their way into journals, or etch themselves into blinking pixels. I hope my words fall like rain on tender souls in need of refreshing. Finding photos in random moments helps me share stories. During a trip to Africa the perfect trifecta of my first DSLR, mission trip, and dream-location happened and my love of photography became a reality. My bio remains in process because I am.

I love bokeh. It’s so pretty. If I’m completely honest, bokeh gives me an eye orgasm. My eyes twitch and get all freaky. Specially when there are beautiful colors involved.

*this may be the weirdest comment from me, but if anyone can “get it” it’s you. Bokeh… yummy!

  2. Beautiful bokeh! Isn’t it amazing, how such a little thing can spawn something so big- your foray into photography! It’s been great to have you along for Exploring with a Camera this year. I hope to see more of your beautiful photographs in the new year to come!

  3. wow these are all really beautiful! I can’t even pick a favorite! I’m doing a bokeh link up on my blog today too, you should stop by! :)

Your bokeh is gorgeous!! I’d love to learn that technique. Any tips or tutorials that you can direct me to? Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!
