Though I haven’t been able to pick up my camera this week as much as I would have liked, I did get a chance – thanks to Creative Live, to catch a weekend of Zach and Jody teach on wedding photography. Oh.My.Heart. They are seriously Light-Ninjas. Since 2012 is all about EDUCATION, and Creative Live allows developing togs to dial in F.R.E.E. during the live sessions, I got me an incredible training session for F.R.E.E.! Squee!
Smile (Saun’s suggestion)

A few weekends ago I had the incredible privilege of shooting a Vow Renewal for my dear friend’s parents who were also celebrating 46 years of marriage. Forty-Six Years! The event was filled with memorable family moments like the one above that I shot of the grand kids and their Abuela, but it also marked my 2nd shooter Mandi’s (aka “Scout”) debut. Because I had another shoot that morning and would be late to the event, Mandi agreed to take the ceremony pictures. And people, she did a FANTASTIC job! Go to my Facebook Page and look at the “Zubieta Vow Renewal” album and you can see which ones she shot!! I’m such a proud tog!
Stand Alone (Saun’s suggestion)

There are times that you have to stand alone. For a cause. For a season. These times of standing alone are not fun, so I always like to remember in those times that truly, we are never, ever standing fully alone.
Rusty or Something Old (Saun’s suggestion)

Old. Not sure what it does. Rusty, kinda.
Artificial (Terrie’s suggestion)

I love what this designer did with artificial flowers. He used distressed wood to frame them and I just love the results!
Repeating Pattern (Terrie’s suggestion)

I have loved photographing repeating patterns since Kat’s first installment of them. Here is yet another pattern I happened across… bike after bike after bike!
