One of my favorite places is Middleburg, VA and a few weeks ago I had the opportunity to second an early-morning photoshoot with my dear friend (and photographer-inspiration-mentor) Kelly Sauer. When we were done w/the shoot… we just walked around town and I loved some of the displays (like this one).
Letters make up words, which make up sentences, which make up books. It just seems – to me – that some letters are more important than others… What letters have been making up the words that you are listening to in your life? What letters have grabbed onto your heart?
This is an old mill on the way to Middleburg. It’s a peaceful spot with a brook and a big metal wheel that rotates the water around and through. The splish-splash of the water and the quiet of this area always gives me a tranquil peace.
Life. Outside the window of a church. Growing vibrantly. I feel like this could be a metaphorical resonance to the way so many churches are faring nowdays… what can we learn from the solitary tree outside the window?
Announcement: Magnificent Mondays Linky
p.s. Tomorrow I am going to attempt to begin a community linky called “Magnificent Mondays!” A non-themed linky similar to Wordless Wednesdays that is just for fun. Anything goes on Magnificent Mondays, the goal is to provide a fun place to link up with other photographers.
The linky will open at 5:35pm Monday night and run through the following Monday night at 5:34pm. To participate, all you have to do is grab my Magnificent Monday badge below and link up your photographs!
