An integral part of my photography has always been giving back into the local and global community because I believe that our gifts are meant to be shared with others. I devote a portion of my time and my photography gift to serving the needs around me. Some of my favorite local charities include:
Jill’s House: Jill’s House celebrates children with special needs and provides much-needed relief and respite to their families in the greater Washington DC area.
Time to Fly: Time to Fly is dedicated to helping abused women and children regain their God given worth, break the generational cycle of dating/domestic abuse and strengthen the family unit.
Global African Missions: Though I have participated in a variety of global serving opportunities, it is Africa, and the various countries and the African people that have captured and held my heart, so whenever I can, I escape to this magical country to find creative, unique ways to serve its magnificent people.
